I took an opportunity to try out taking MRT to work this week since it’s free till end of March 2023. Turns out it ruined my day when travelling with MRT. I’m living in kepong and working in Bukit Bintang area. Basically I’ll need to travel with MRT Putrajaya line from Metro Prima station to TRX station, and interchange to MRT Kwasa Damansara line to travel from TRX station to Bukit Bintang station. That was fine and pleasant. On 28 March 2023, in the evening, I would wanna take MRT Kajang line to travel from Bukit Bintang station to TRX station, saw lots of people lining up in front of the gates before entering into the train, realised there was disruption for MRT Kajang line. But no announcement was made prior. While waiting at Bukit Bintang station to give some times for them to fix it, you know what? no air-con in Bukit Bintang station!!! I saw a few foreigners were there and I felt shame of Malaysia for the subway service. I ended up leaving bukit Bintang station cause no air-con. I then headed to the counter to ask the staff for waiving my payment on the entrance and exit at Bukit Bintang station. Then I decided to walk to Conlay station (walking time is about 20 mins and no proper pedestrian walkway) to take MRT Kwasa Damansara line to go back to Kepong. Finally I’ve reached Conlay station and I was sweating like hell. Who knows I couldn’t use the same TnG card to enter Conlay station due to my last trip wasn’t completed, meaning the staff at Bukit Bintang station didn’t help me to properly ensure my TnG go is good to leave and ready to use for the next trip. So I have to spend another 10 mins at Conlay station to ask the staff helping me to fix my TnG card. In total I spent 2.5 hours for the whole incident and I made my decision that I’ll never consider taking MRT to travel for work. I’ll stick back to drive to work instead cause I never spent 2.5 hours per way to drive from kepong to bukit Bintang. Such...
Read moreIt's a very good spot with multiple entrance so you don't have to cross the busy road. One of it provide elevator(the exit infront lot 10 lead to pavilion) ,one entrance doesn't have escalator iirc, it's the entrance at the hotel and also the smallest one. Another entrance is right in front mcD lead to capsule hotel etc etc , another one is at the bbplaza/sungei wang lead to times square. It's also an interchange station to monorel bukit bintang.
Also this is one of the station that separated the rails by floors, kajang at another floor and sungai buloh is at another floor, the escalator are pretty high and fast since we all are fast travelers lol, so mind your step and children. And I saw the touch and go machine where you can top up your card by yourself but not sure if it's available to be use...
Read moreA magnificently built underground MRT station. Built deep down just a few steps away from the bustling Bukit Bintang. This must be the most popular station and destination for this entire SBK Z line. Many hours must have been spent designing the beautiful ambiance of this station that comes with many outlets. It can lead directly to Lot 10 and onwards to Pavilion and the monorail station. Or another outlet that leads you to Jalan Alor and Changkat Bukit Bintang where all the beautiful people ascend to. Then another one towards Sungei Wang and the rest of Bukit Bintang towards the south. All visitors to Kuala Lumpur must try this SBK line and visit Bukit Bintang and its...
