Kyros Kebab - SOGO — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

Saw that Kyros Kebab has a 'new menu' for breakfast so tried this out. Verdict: Nope, just nope. Looks value for money but after trying, nope.

Set breakfast came with coffee/tea, ciabatta and half boiled eggs. Costed RM13+ incl tax, which was pricey, yes but sorta standard for a franchise located in a mall.

First: Ciabatta was over-toasted, resulting in a chewy texture. Spread was butter and kaya but the 'butter' was margarine and the kaya tasted like real cheap kaya (sweet and no coconut flavour). Bread was too oily, resulting in a soggy bottom. And this was supposedly freshly made cos I waited while the staff toasted and prepared the bread.

Second: The half-boiled egg. Omg, I didn't even finish this. It was a watery... like how I attempted to make steamed egg where I added too much water and didn't have the patience to let the egg fully cook and set. I think they added water to the egg and just microwaved, slightly undercooking so that it looks like half-boiled. Hello, have you seen how half-boiled eggs are served in mamaks?

Coffee has a tinge of burnt taste although I would not place too much fault here cos they are a fast food franchise anyway and coffee always doesn't taste great.

Conclusion - never again. Don't think it's worth the price. Might as well I go for mamak who will serve actual half boiled eggs and Benggali Toast for less than...

I ordered Chicken Kebab Meat with Fries at around 4:52pm. I received my food and went to sit down to eat it. However as I was eating, I noticed something that no one would want to see in their food. A SMALL COCKROACH IN MY FOOD! To those who are reading my review, please dont stop eating at Kyros Kebab, however PLEASE AVOID THIS SPECIFIC OUTLET if possible AT LEAST until the Health Department clears it on its next inspection.

Dont waste your money here really. First thing first, their staffs work with totally no urgency despite the crowd. Secondly, when I asked for rice, rice not available. When I asked for meatballs, meatballs not available. This is still acceptable as I understand restaurants sometimes can run of out stocks. Thirdly, I ordered a Kebab Meat with fries mixed meat. I ordered for extra meat as well but the portion served is so small. I am sorry I forgot to take a photo of it.
