Siang Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I decided to try this place even though the reviews on the service were not complimentary......and boy was I proven wrong!! The dimsum is of average quality (incomparable to Ah Yat Abalone) but the service is hopeless. The wait staff don't believe in smiling or being attentive. When I asked for the bill, I was asked to go to the counter. When I wanted to know why, they threw the bill on the table - it was bloody rude!! The rudest of the lot were in jackets so I'm not sure if they are supervisors. My view - if you don't want indigestion (cause: service and food), don't visit the place. The owner should seriously look into replacing their wait staff with younger less jaded...

It is a Chinese restaurant serving all kinds of dishes, including dimsum. We ordered a buka puasa set for 2 pax totaling RM81 after tax. The food tasted decent and felt homely. Unfortunately, I only remember taking photos after we were halfway through eating.

The set includes rice, fish, chicken, an omelet, vegetables, tom yam soup, a simple dessert, and a syrup drink. My favorite is fish fillet with black pepper, and chicken with Thai sauce. All the food was good.

The only downside was the servers; chinese aunties were rushing you to take orders. It didn't happen to us but to the table next to us; pity ladies. Anyway, good food, but service must...

Had lunch with colleagues. Empty plates on my seat got small insects cover my tissue.

Ordered a yee sang with salmon since cny is around the corner. However yee sang served without salmon, after reconfirm with staff then only they put six small pieces of salmon on top. Taste okay but sauce a bit too sweet for me.

After we finished yee sang, we waited almost 45 minutes for other dishes to be served. All dishes are delicious except one. The mushroom got burnt, can smell once it being served. Green vege is my favourite.
