Dined here on 27 March. Brought along parents. Ordered the 2-3 pax firepot (red base tomyam), along with other dishes. Priced at 42.90. Received 2 prawns, one piece of squid, and part of a fish fillet. Realised the serving content halfway into the meal and alerted a waiter. He said we will be attended to by a manager, who arrived about 10 minutes later. By then the meal was almost done. I asked if this portion is normal for 2-3 pax serving, to only serve 2 prawns, a piece of squid (thumb sized) and a piece of broken fish fillet. The manager clarified that the serving portion for 2-3 pax is 2 prawns, 2 squids, and 2 pieces of fish fillet.
2 issues. One, for a 2-3 pax dish, 2 prawns, 2 squids, and 2 pieces of fish fillet is not a decent meal for the price paid.
Second, even for this measly serving, we were not served the portion.
The manager offered to recook the meal. By then, we were towards the end of the meal and had other plans scheduled. Hence we politely declined, and informed them I will be leaving a review instead.
Issue is not the price, issue is the quality/quantity for the price paid. Not worth, may as well spend the...
Read moreThe food is very overpriced because the food is very average. We ordered lime steam siakap, stir fried chicken cashewnut and brocolli & mushroom. The steamed siakap is just ok. Had tasted better in other cheaper stalls. But the stirfired chicken cashewnut is not worth the price at all. It was just stirfried flour with soursauce with a few cashewnuts. We dont taste any chicken at all. Maybe the chicken were so tiny and coated with flour that you cant taste chicken at all. This should be taken off the menu. Have the chef or owner ever tasted your dish? Its a total waste of RM24.90 for such dish. We also feel cheated for the brocolli &mushroom. Its totally different than what is advertised. The menu shows big button mushrooms but what was cooked was just few slices of mushroom. So overpriced for RM24.90. I have had better at other restaurants for.much cheaper price. We definitely...
Read moreI visited ParaThai at Soho and had a wonderful experience! I was served by Priiyann, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. His service really stood out, polite, patient, and always smiling, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
The food was absolutely delicious, rich in flavour, beautifully presented, and tasted just like authentic Thai cuisine should. From the fragrant Tom Yum soup to the perfectly cooked Pad Thai, every bite was satisfying. Definitely a place I’d recommend for both the food and the fantastic service. Thank you, Priiyann, for making our dining experience...
