Menara Affin @ TRX — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

I’ve tolerated Affin Bank’s login issues for a long time, hoping their system would improve. But this recent experience has completely shattered my trust in the bank.

On 9 May 2025, I changed to a new phone and installed the Affin app. Although my login credentials were 100% correct, I was forced to activate AffinSecure before I could access my account. I followed the auto-activation steps over the phone, but even by 13 May 2025, it was still not activated.

I visited the Ampang Point branch in person, but even the staff there couldn’t help me. As a result, all my important banking matters were delayed unnecessarily.

Affin’s voice support is practically useless — I waited over 20 minutes on the phone and no one picked up. The Live Chat system is just as bad — it logs out automatically halfway through explaining the issue, and I had to restart again and again.

I’ve now transferred all my funds to another bank just to meet my basic banking needs. I will no longer be using any services...

The Affinbank management was so bad, specifically FCAD department. They don't have their own phone number, late reply email, get back to me after 14 working days while in first email already stated will get back to me after 7 working days.
