Let's get this straight. Despite its name as a cafe, the main highlight here is spending time being surrounded cute lovely cats.
The place sells some cat snacks (RM 10/can) that comes in a small can that once u shake a little, will produce a noise that invite all the cats congregating near and around you as if you were the chosen one and they are your faithful devotees.
It wouldn't take long after you uncap the can that these cats would start climbing on you, begging to be fed and pampered by massaging you with their cute little paws and serenading you with their soft little "meows". They could melt the manliest heart.
Most of the cats are friendly and cuddyly except for one. Watch out for the White / Orange cat (the staff will warn you about him) for he is fierce and won't mind leaving you with some scratch marks. When the staffs were not too busy, they'd actively introduce their cats to us - telling us about their age, some background stories about them, and even put some into our arms for us to carry.
The place is opened from 1PM - 7PM and there's a timetable for every visit and each is 45 minutes long. So do check in with them on the available slots and when you'd like to go. The fee for an adult is RM 32 on weekends, and RM 28 on weekdays. For those of the age 4-17, it's RM 28 on weekends and RM 25 on weekdays. Drinks are included with the fee though I never had the time nor desire to get one because I was so busy with the cats.
At the end of the visit, our clothes were full of cat hairs but the staffs demonstrated their experience further by providing us with a lint roller. So, roll all the hairs away before you make your exit.
While the experience at this 'cafe' is fine and pawesome, finding a parking here can be a nightmare. This place is actually a landed house converted into a shop (Bangsar's signature) so parking can be a pain in the rear.
Summing it all up: Must go for cat lovers Place is clean Does not reek of bad smell Friendly and helpful staffs Price is fair in my opinion Parking can...
Read moreThis cat cafe is located near Bangsar Village. I thought it is located at the shoplot area but it was opposite the shop lot (a terrace house).
Parking: Quite difficult because the cafe is facing a very busy two-way road. Very hard to find a parking spot but we were lucky when we got a spot just in front of the cafe.
Fee: For weekdays - adult (above 18) RM28, kids (not sure of the age range but my youngest daughter whose 5years old is being charged for the fee) RM25 For weekends - adult RM32, kids RM28
Cafe: Personally, I don't prefer to have any snacks in there because the cats' smell is quite strong. But I can understand the condition and I don't mind as I am a cat lover. For those who are not really into cats, I just give you a gentle reminder. You can choose to wait outside as they also provide tables and chairs to lepak outside. They do provide free drinks but I can't drink strong tea with lemon.
Staff: They are very friendly and helpful.
Cats: This is the best part. The catss areee ssoooo purrrrtifullll!!! Some of them are wearing diapers to avoid them spraying their urine everywhere. They are so manja and playful. Some of them have very smooth fur and are clean. The breeds from british short hair, rag doll, american curl, persian and munchkin.
Overall, our visit is worthwhile. Maybe the fees are a bit pricey for a 45mins visit but we are OK as I can't stay long with the fur kids (sinus prob). Hope my review can help you guys to plan ahead...
Read moreI swear by this cat cafe and I will definitely be back for more! This is truly a paradise for cat lovers because not only they have many beautiful breeds, there are also A LOT of cats that love interacting with humans! It was truly the best pet cafe experience I’ve had because most of the pet cafes out there either only have a few pets for customers to play with or the pets themselves don’t prefer interacting with customers.
Pros: Best furry therapy ever with tons of manja cats Super affordable treats (for instance they only price their cat stick at rm2/each, unlike other cat cafes) Free drink (note: if you’re looking for typical cafe drinks, they do have them but you have to pay separately) Clean and comfy environment with bearable smell Tons of sitting area and walking space Got toys at the side to play with cats
Con: As this is a house located at Bangsar facing shop lots, parking may be hard to find, especially during peak hours BUT it’s possible to find parking within the housing area
How to book: Head to their IG page and you can contact them via WhatsApp for...
