Amazing shop in Mdina. A must to visit, full of local artisan items and handcrafted goods. The shop itself is part of an old building and there is also a quaint coffee shop. Excellent place to browse and shop Maltese keepsakes and gifts. Staff is really welcoming and helpful.

Il-lokal is such a special and unique shop and experience on the island! It showcases local designers and creatives works varying from prints, pottery, and photography to clothing, candles and accessories! Definitely worth a visit during a calm stroll threw the streets of the capital. A lovely space for both tourists and locals to get inspired and support local makers. There’s something for everyone and the shop owner is also a lovely spirit...

I really loved this little shop which connects several very talented Maltese local artists. It’s a relatively new shop but already has quite good collections with varieties. I love the concept and I love the selections. If you want to find something which is truly connected to the locals and unique, this would be THE place to be! Cannot recommend this shop enough!! It featured loads of talented artists and makers that are local to Malta Skip all the usual terrible kitchy tourist shops and head straight to this one I found so many cool gifts here. Make sure to visit it and support the local artists featured here. The store owner was very informative and knew a lot about the makers featured. Save it...
