From start to finish, our experience at Maison Medina was nothing short of exceptional. No detail was overlooked, and every element reflected the highest standard of luxury and customer care. I’ve stayed in many wonderful hotels around the world, but nothing has come close to this level of experience or value for money. The interior design is immaculate and a perfect example of refined luxury done right. Every space within the townhouse is beautifully finished and faultlessly maintained. We stayed in the La Loggia Suite, and the photos truly don’t do it justice. The suite was breathtakingly elegant and incredibly comfortable, complete with a private courtyard that felt like our own tranquil haven. Every comfort had been thoughtfully provided, from robes, slippers, snacks, and water to tea and coffee facilities, an ironing board, and luxurious Molton Brown toiletries. The breakfast each morning was delightful, presented beautifully in a charcuterie-style board featuring a generous variety of fresh options including smoked salmon, pastries, cheeses, fruit, cereals, toast, and fresh juices, all accompanied by expertly made teas and coffees. The hosts were one of the highlights of our stay. They took such wonderful care of us, from the delicious morning coffee to the beautifully kept rooms. No request was ever too much, and every interaction was met with genuine warmth and helpfulness. Their attention to detail and kindness elevated the entire experience. Checking in and out was seamless thanks to the hotel’s unique PIN code system, allowing complete flexibility. We were even offered a complimentary early check-in when our room was ready ahead of schedule, which was a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the stay. With only four individually designed rooms, Maison Medina offers not just accommodation but the experience of living like royalty in a beautifully restored historic setting. Every suite is curated to immerse you in a world of elegance and calm, right on the doorstep of the iconic Mdina Gate. Even small touches, like umbrellas provided by the entrance for rainy days, show the level of care this place invests in its guests. It’s rare that I take the time to write a review, but Maison Medina deserves every word. It is a masterclass in attention to detail, atmosphere, and hospitality, truly the gold standard of boutique luxury. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and it will undoubtedly be the only place I stay whenever I return to this beautiful country.

Everything about this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are beautifully designed, with every detail thoughtfully curated — I stayed on the top floor and especially loved the cozy balcony. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the entire space feels truly special. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Medina old town — and the price-to-quality ratio is unbeatable. Breakfast was a delight, more like enjoying a morning in a charming local café than a typical hotel breakfast. Highly recommend — I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great location to explore Mdina. The old city is a 5 minutes walk. The hotel is a real boutique hotel, the attention to detail is amazing. Breakfast is served in a very stylish cozy room, good coffee, friendly staff, enough to choose from. For general use the is is a roof terrace with a hot tub with a nice view towards the old city. Lunch tip: Maria's pastry, dining tip: the mondion Michelin restaurant or TownhouseNo3, both verry good with food and wines.

Luxury, attention, care, location, gold service. Central location to go north by bus to Sliema, Valletta or St Julian. Grab an inexpensive Bolt car to the south Blue Grotto or east to Mellieha Bay or Golden Bay. Walk across the street to walled Coty of Mdina, walk around the corner to amazing bars, restaurants and paztezzi /Ice cream shops. End your evening on Madison Mdina’s roof top jacuzzi to watch the sunset or just relax after a busy day. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Maison Medina, our hosts Anita and Noel, the wonderful daily breakfast and its central location. A must stay! Amazing value...

We felt right at home at Maison Medina from the first moment. Anita received us graciously, helped with our bags and gave us a tour of the room. We had not only a spacious, clean and tastefully decorated bedroom but also an equally big and clean bathroom as well as a luxurious little terrace all to ourselves. The breakfast was served in a small room on the ground floor with very good coffee and tea there as well as a broad range of great breakfast foods. Also, although the hotel is right on the main square between Rabat and Mdina, we slept like babies. We felt very comfortable at Maison Medina and can only...
