Transported various centuries back , what a lovely place to be. Excellent architecture, magical feel. Access is free & just outside the bus stop . Horse carts available for old people to roam around. Really a must visit. Very cute souvenir shops & cafés . Even if you go when it’s hot, there are several lanes with shadow and cool breeze , that’s how the city is structured that remains cool. The cathedral is stunning , the views of city and sea from city walls is magnificent. Overall very pleasant and must visit . Very easy to reach from Valletta by hopping on 51.52,53 bus just for 2.5 euros . Parking is possible too but bus I felt...

What an amazing place to visit!

We went in the evening with two kids and really enjoyed walking around and enjoying the history of the area.

Yes, we did feel obliged to give the 'attendant' €1 despite knowing it was free to park there, but he was managing the traffic well and what's €1 really to help a local who has to put up with 100s if not 1000s of tourists every week.

An utterly stunning location. Yes it's tourist orientated, however unlike some places I have visited it's not spoilt by that. Many different languages can be heard, it's truly cosmopolitan, be prepared to help out groups and couples taking...

Going there feels like stepping into the time machine. The narrow streets lined by old fortresses tell the story of the bygone days. Stepping out of modern days people from those housee are nothing but a harsh transition from surrealism to realism.
