I personally arranged for this store to ship 4 pieces of glassware to Australia.. only to discover two items broken in box when I opened it! See my photos attached. My dish was only wrapped in 1 piece of bubble wrap which I feel did not provide adequate protection for damage. As you can also see in photograph loose packaging around items within box, clearly allowing movement ! This company insist the package was done securely....unfortunately, that's not how I received it!! My query & discussion about moving forward with the manager went back & forth with emails. I was only the told there is no insurance & they do not intend to do any form of replacement, nor a refund.. I was basically told " too bad for me!" after spending €395 with them!! The shipping cost had to be paid in cash. Sadly, this is not an endearing way for a high-profile, well-known business to run who promotes world wide shipping!!. Stay clear!! Read moreI have bought a lot of lovely things from here. However my recent experience has not been good. In September of last year I took a necklace which I had bought from them to be repaired.. They offered to replace it with one which was cheaper. I wanted my own which I loved, repairing. I bought the other one and left mine to be repaired. I kept ringing up about it and was told it couldn't be repaired and they sent me another. In March they told me it had been repaired and they would return it if I paid for the replacement. I paid on April 6th through PayPal. I was told it would be sent out immediately by Elaine who works in the shop. I am still waiting. Read moreI bought a bracelet from this store. And, I wanted to use it right away. One of its stones came out, and I wanted to change it. The sales lady refused to take it back even if it just happened. She said it will come out of her pocket if she gives me a new one. It is not about money, but about principle. It is obviously not made well (low quality), but also bad customer experience. If the lady is telling the truth, it is on the store owner. S/he should not put her in this position. If she was lying then it is a different story. Overall, bad taste and bad experience. It was the only unpleasant experience in my trip to lovely Malta.
