My partner and I went here for lunch yesterday, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The service was warm, the food and drinks outstanding, and the location was cozy and quiet (and it is where part of Season 1 Game of Thrones was filmed!).

We both had the mulled wine for drinks, which is made in-house. It is very strong and fruity, so if you aren't a fan of red wine, orange, and anise, I would give this one a miss. However, I am not a huge anise fan and found it quite delicious.

I had the Italian wrap, and my partner had the Maltese wrap; both were outstanding and clearly made with fresh, local ingredients. I would highly recommend either of these dishes.

I would forewarn people that this place, like most in the Old City, is small and intimate and traditional in its style. There are a couple of small tables outside in the courtyard, and tables for larger parties downstairs, but downstairs seating requires that you be able to walk down a short spiral staircase.

I wish I'd had time to eat more than one meal at this gem of a restaurant; next time I'm in...

What we liked: cold drinks, friendly waiter, atmosphere on place.

What we disliked: too much lettuce on Greek platter for 2 persons, too few olives and tzatziki, too many feta cubes (canned out of the supermarket), only 3 small pieces of bread per person, 3 pieces of tomato and cucumber per person. All in all, we don’t recommend the Greek platter as it was very basic. Not something you would expect from a restaurant. As such also the price/quality ratio is way off for this dish.

Restroom is very basic in the cellar with just one toilet and it smells horrible. We sat outside, but we’ve wondered if the clients which were eating in the cellar next to the restroom would also pick up the smell. By the way, the stairs to the cellar are very narrow...

The waitress was super nice and the place had great location BUT we waited 1hr to get our food which arrived cold and tbh not tasty. The maltese pizza was fine (maybe a 6/10). I had further ordered the grilled chicken (double) and the portion was still small (im grateful they accomodated that from kids menu for me though). Unseasoned and dry chicken and the crisps were literally bagged crisps (probably Lays brand or something). I would not recommend eating here but it is a nice place to get a drink in a nice area and enjoy some sun and wind. I found it expensive as well for what you’re...

I understand being busy but there’s a thin line between poor meeting of expectations and a health hazard. The sink in the bathroom (there’s only one) is “out of order”, so you cannot wash your hands. We ordered a greek platter which was absolutely subpar. Paying almost 20€ for a plate of browning salad and yogurt with too much garlic and tiny bits of cucumber (supposedly tzatziki) is absurd. Even tomatoes had residue of carrots that were not even part of the dish? The bread was regular and not particularly fresh. I rarely write reviews however we were very disappointed. I hope they fix their issues.
