A truly hidden gem away from the bustling street of Mdina - got attracted by the photos on Google map so booked this for lunch in advance. The seatings at the courtyard are amazing but we were offered seats in the indoor area which is like a cellar, which are slightly dimmed and our original table at the corner was fairly stuffy so we asked to switch to another side of the indoor seating which are much better. Very attentive service and a good selection of food. We ordered the falafel bites as starters, pork belly and pasta with rabbit meat as mains which are all really tasty, and the bread ordered at the beginning of the meal is really nice too. I would highly recommend booking this place if you’re down in Mdina!

For a Michelin restaurant the experience was awefull and the food mediocre. After 40min waiting for 3main dishes the waiter apologised for the delay and told us that the steak was overcooked and should start again the process, add 20 more minutes to the order. One plate was chipped and the cutlery more than used. The toilets were at the same level like a McDonald's. In a civilised country and at a civilised restaurant this should have translated in a free desert or more than a plain escuse. Some people work 2 full days to afford a Michelin one course experience and the disrespect of the personnel is unimaginable. The steak was afterwards mediocre, the beef cheks a bit could and the second plate of mashed potatoes missing. Thank you, I had the experience.

Must visit if in Mdina. The supervisor there (didn’t get her name) was the sweetest soul. She made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal the entire time. I heard about the baba ganoush and as an Arab I had to try it. It did not disappoint at all 😍. Despite it being a starter, the restaurant amended it and made it into a meal for me and it was delicious. I definitely would recommend to try 😋. They had a large selection of wine (which I didn’t try) but if you love wine you would enjoy that. My sister is a picky eater and got the risotto and absolutely loved it. We both can’t wait to return to Malta just to eat here 😂

We celebrated an event, in all 6 people. You enter an open courtyard which is very well restored and protected from the outside elements. All the food was perfect and everyone complimented the food. Starters from fish soup to pasta were fantastic. The main course was mainly rib-eye steak with 1 side dish and sauce. The dessert was brilliant. I gave service a 3 star simply because many years ago I used to go there and the service was better. The service was centred around customer satisfaction. It is still "good" but not as good as it used to be. Great evening and compliments.

First the positive aspects: beautiful location, the terrasse inside reminds of the riads in marrakech. The food is also arabic inspired. Since we are from that culture we know the taste of the traditional dishes like baba ghanoush, tabouleh and imam bayildi. To be honest, we were disappointed by them. They were very different than we know, for example the tabouleh salad was very gross and had nothing to do with the original one. The taste of the dishes was mediocre and a bit overpriced. Since it is a michelin star awarded restaurant, we were def disappointed.

The food is absolutely delicious, with every plate bursting with flavor and made from the freshest ingredients. You can really taste the quality! Service is super friendly and they take very good care of you. The atmosphere is lovely, too. Whether you choose to sit indoors or in their gorgeous garden, it’s the perfect vibe for a laid-back meal. The decor is cozy, and the outdoor space is just stunning with its lush greenery. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for some tasty eats in a beautiful setting!
