Visited today and unfortunately paid the small but nonetheless extortionate entry fee of €5 that capitalises on the fact the central garden was used in a Game of Thrones scene. You're not permitted to enter the gardens so all you can do is walk around the cloister for a few minutes, see a tiny exhibition and a chapel.
There was rubbish and empty canisters lying around the cloister and the garden, and lots of commotion so the setting wasn't even tranquil. The flowers in the garden did smell nice, however.
St. Paul's catacombs up the road charges €6 and is far more interesting, better kept and educational. Pjazza Mesquita and the city gate in Mdina were also used in scenes from GoT season 1 and are both free. Avoid this and go there instead - I don't understand the positive...

The audio visual room was closed The museum was very interesting and indeed intriguing, specially the pots that date back to 700 BC
We were the only tourists here, except some people inside the church and the staff that worked here.

Read moreMagnificent historical place. St.Dominic's Church and Priory are in themselves a landmark. The church and priory are mostly open during mass hours. The lovely garden that lies in the centre was part of the set for the "Game of Thrones" Red Keep gardens.
The garden itself is private property of the priory, but it can still be seen and enjoyed from every corner of the cloister.
