La Jungla GYM — Local services in Mexico City

Superb gym in the heart of Roma Norte. I've been going here almost every weekday while staying in CDMX and enjoyed it a lot.

Pros: The coaches are great. La Jungla has some of the best coaches I've encountered in any fitness gym. You guys are amazing! Excellent workouts with simple yet effective exercises. You get a chance to do each exercise for several reps & around 4-5 sets and get results, instead of rushing from one exercise to the next. Convenient morning and night hours during the week + Saturday morning. Each workout takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. Check the Instagram page for the latest schedule. Great atmosphere on an open-air outdoor terrace. No street noise, easy to breathe, comfortable temperature, enough space for everything. There is a roof and side cover in case it rains. Cool music selection for every class. The volume is right too - you can hear the directions from the instructors. All the equipment you need is here: lots of pull-up/chin-up bars, bars for dips, free weight bars, dumbbells and discs, kettlebells, rubber bands with different levels of resistance, mats, etc. The equipment is in good shape. Pricing is competitive for the area. The flat monthly rate makes sense if you visit often. Everyone is friendly and accommodating with gringos who only speak basic Spanish ... that's me.
