North-African dishes for a moderate price.
The food was definitely worth it! We ordered an appetizer in the form of different small bread toppings, I immediately loved how much choice there was on the menu for these toppings. Afterwards we each had a main dish, mine was a tajine specialty with lamb neck and a variety of vegetables. My partner had a chicken filled with pistache with dates and fruits and vegetables. Both of these dishes were quite large and definitely filling. I also recommend the couscous which was very tasty and good portioned. The staff was very friendly and made some small talk and jokes which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Very polite people as well! Read moreToday I went to a Moroccan restaurant which was full of character. The restaurant is full of African memorabilia but also a banjo. The staff said that they didn't know much English but they knew more English than I knew Dutch so we got by quite easily. The food was very good. I didn't see in the menu that I was ordering a starter so was disappointed when the plate came. Next page was the main meals!!! Had enough money to have a dessert. The place is darkly lit and seeing the food was difficult, there were also flies. After sitting down we waited for at least 20 min before the only worker at the time came rushing and said that she forgot about us. Other than the awful service, the food was nice.
