TLDR; Do it, it is worth every penny!
This is a kind of place where it is so good that you want it to be kept secret. So it took a long while for me to write up the review but they deserve all the good review and rave of the world - I don't think 5 stars can do the justice for this place. When I started my very first class here, I was a tired, 6 month postpartum mom who worried about her lost core and pelvic strength. That sleep deprived mom made one of the best decisions not only to just pull herself out of a constant lack of energy and feeling blue, but to find herself again and see the joy and beauty of the world again! All instructors who work at this studio is unbelievably supportive and bubbly. They will brighten up your day instantly. No matter what level of fitness you are, there will be something that is challenging for you in an environment that's calm and inviting. I can't be more thankful to Shan especially. She has been so kind and accommodating my circumstances so that I could keep going on my pilates journey. She has a passion and love for pilates which is super infectious, now I can't imagine myself without pilates. And special thanks to Carson and Tash who have been exceptionally lovely and helpful in building my strength back also! Read moreI've been coming to Movement since Feb 2021 three times a week. I'm hooked! I absolutely love pilates. The Movement team offer a diverse and challenging workout every single time. There are so many options for intensity during each class-- meaning that pilates is suitable for everyone. I am so (so!) much stronger than when I first started. It's super satisfying noticing real differences in strength and endurance ability. Pilates is one of the few places where I can switch off and focus solely on being present/doing the task at hand. Honestly, I could go on and on about it!
If you're thinking about giving pilates ago in a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. Beginner classes typically have a range of ages, ability, injury recovery, pre and post-natal clients and so on. You can take exercise at your own pace. Every instructor is positive and responsive to individual needs. If you are looking for an achievable yet challenging workout + a bit of clarity, give it a go.

All the instructors are highly skilled, kind, welcoming, friendly, supportive and caring too. Carson and Shan are my absolute favourite as I love the flow of their classes.
I also love that the classes suits a range of levels, from beginner to advanced - on days where I’m feeling gung-ho, I go with level 2/3 settings, and on days where I’m feeling a little meh, I go with level 1 options.
It might just be a 50 minute class 2-3 times a week, but I always feel refreshed afterwards - physically and mentally.
