• Rude and annoying checkout operators* ** Checkout operators always charge for an additional item which isn't purchased e.g. if customer buys 2 bottles of almond milk or 5 tomatoes cans ,they charge for 6 or 7 cans instead. They intentionally double scan the items. Customers don't realize unless they carefully check the items. ** Always overcharge , display price on the shelves says something but they charge always extra ,happened 4-5 times , when pointed out they checked display price and apologized saying , oh system may not have updated the correct price. Is that customer's responsibility to update the correct pricing?
• Empty shelves always* Every time I go to this store (bcz its on a walking distance to my place) staff make mistakes and waste so much of my time. I know I can use self checkout for handful of items which I do but can't use for a full trolley. I will avoid this store , not sure if similar incidents have happened with others if not make sure you guys start checking your receipts. Management really needs to...

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this Countdown. I was attended by an Indian lady whose behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. From the moment I walked in, she showed no interest in making me feel welcome or comfortable. Her attitude was cold, dismissive, and disrespectful. Instead of being treated like a valued customer, I felt ignored. She rushed through the service, didn’t bother to explain anything, and acted as though I was wasting her time. At one point, her attitude became so rude that I genuinely felt uncomfortable. Customer service is a key part of any business. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. There was no basic courtesy, no professionalism, and certainly no effort to make the experience positive. I am writing this review not out of anger, but in the hope that the management takes this issue seriously. I believe no customer should be treated with such disrespect.
