Farro Mt Eden — Local services in Albert-Eden

While expensive more than not, some prices are great ! I Cost isn't a real issue for me, I enjoy shopping here and I don't do large or family shops. I shop for myself. I always get a great coffee and a deli snack when shopping for groceries. Other than poor quality peaches & nectarines that were rotten inside one time & bananas that turned from yellow to brown the next day with a couple that had small splits in the skin peels which looked like they were splitting which I noticed later when unloading groceries - everything else is very very satisfactory. Really like Farro. Expensive but fresh. Could do with more ready-made gourmet meals that can be heated up in a microwave. Also bigger selection bakery. Overall satisfaction 5* OK have to re edit as I went in the other day and felt bullied into using my credit. I said no I want to keep it but she wouldn't take no for a answer. Plenty of fresh produce, with good seasonal deals available. E.g. during November I got 2 punnets of strawberries for $5 and two packets of campari truss tomatoes for $4. Plenty of other fresh, yummy options. Downside is the non compostable packaging, and no options to fill up your own bags instead of taking their plastic containers...
