Tonight was the third time weāve eaten at Parro and itās fast becoming our favourite restaurant in the city, we weāre celebrating my wifeās birthday, I also had my birthday here too (3 weeks ago) the food is amazing weāve tried most dishes on the menu, the two chefs Gleber & Iagor are relentless in the kitchen constantly moving seamlessly from one dish to the next, the flavours will make you smile and feel all happy inside, Bia the manager (The Queen of Parro š) is great , her energy and joy for what she does makes you feel like youāre being welcomed by friends as soon as you walk in , the atmosphere is warm and we often find ourselves talking to other tables comparing the food weāve ordered which can be quite a rare phenomenon in central Auckland lol , I highly recommend the Pasta of the day today was osso buco and bone marrow agnalotti (possibly the best bowl of pasta in the city and yes I have eaten at Ellerslieās Bianca & Pasta e Cuore which are also excellent) the BBQ Beef Carpaccio is the best Iāve had and the RawFish Gazpacho is as tasty as it is beautiful, the T Bone steak is my favourite steak in the city cooked over fire itās equal to the famous bistecca alla fiorentina youād find in Tuscany itās dangerous though I often find myself thinking about it while waiting for the next opportunity to go back to eat it again, the Tiramisu is the best in town and thatās my favourite desert I usually order if itās on the menu, Parroās has the perfect texture of the mascarpone , the Savoiardi moist without being too mushy with a mild flavour of coffee ,the cocoa on topšš½ well done Team what an outstanding...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Parro, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
