One of the better Cantonese restaurants in central Auckland where you'll find delicacies like Golden Bit Stir fry (stir fried squid/scallop with Garlic sprouts) but the abysmally poor customer service overshadowed the great food its kitchen produces.
we ordered online (around 6pm) and did not receive a confirmation for about 20 minutes until we called, which was told it will be ready at about 6:39pm, and had to wait a further 40 minutes before i got the food I ordered. Despite repeatedly asking to chase up the order I was fob off by the staff, unwilling to follow up with the kitchen, making various excuses and no apology about the delay. I was made to feel that i was a nuisance to the staff despite being a paying customer spending $100+ at that specific instance and it was not unreasonable to feel annoyed at the situation where the order made ahead of time (before the dinner rush I might add) and had to wait a further 40 minutes.
I would be reluctant to spend another dime or recommend this establishment solely on ground to the atrocious customer service and the arrogancy of the front house staff, which is an absolute shame because the kitchen...

But me and my partner came here for dinner… 1. they didn’t check for Covid passports ? 2. we ordered 2 meat (chicken and pork) on rice and sweet and sour pork on fried noodles. The chicken was bleeding still like I get the bone does have pink colour when cooked but it was bright red and still leaking, the rice was so stale too.. when we asked about the chicken THEY CHUCKED IN THE MICROWAVE… s&s pork with fried noodles It came with skinny hard noodles? Which I thought fried noodles meant soft fried noodles with veges but I guess I’m wrong anyway only took 1 bite out of each both plates and when we told we didn’t wanna eat anymore they still tried to charge us full but in the end only paid half which is a bloody rip. Felt so sick even after one fork full. So many other great restaurants around....
Read moreLet's start with the service - atrocious customer service and obnoxious behavior from the person behind the counter. I am paying for the food so you are not doing me a favor. Uber said it was ready for pick up but I was told when I got there that Uber was wrong and they had no idea how long it will take for the food to be ready. No apologies, no good customer service, but I was merely intruding as a CUSTOMER. Pork serving was measly and not worth $17. There was more rice than pork. Chicken with pineapple and rice was salty, the type of cooking when your cook probably smokes too much and can't taste the salt. HEALTH & SAFETY was an issue especially during COVID. The woman putting the rice into cups to serve wore no gloves and her fingers were all over the rice. I will stay away...
