MTF Moorhouse Avenue — Local services in Christchurch

I took a loan out last year on a vehicle. Unfortunately it was written off back in Oct/Nov. I had a platinum payment waiver but through no fault of my own it was rejected but that not why I’m leaving this review.

I tried to contact MTF specifically Jono, who I was dealing with the whole time. I called about 3-4 asking for him, to be told he was out of office and he would call me back, which he never did. I did manage to reach him last week were he said my total payoff was 2.7k and said nothing about refinancing or that I was “in breach of my contract”.

After that he called me yesterday saying I had to rewrite it into a personal loan and assured me I’d only have to pay the remaining balance, which was 2.5-2.7k. But today I’ve been sent figures which do not correlate to that and he was very argumentative and dismissive of my concerns and was unwilling to work with me upon my requests be sent figures (eg interest rate and payoff amounts) on options he sent me. And it certain messages we’ve had back and forth I can only assume he’s trying to intimidate me.

I would urge anyone reading this to think twice about using...

I recently came in and delt with Jono Ladbrook and the team. Not only was Jono helpful and insightful, he was easy and calm to deal with. Sometimes going for finance can be daunting, never once did he make me feel small or silly for asking questions, he also went out of his way to find what would work best for me and was prompt in every response I needed. Including being in contact with the seller of the vehicle I was buying. Which made the whole process very easy and stress free. Would absolutely recommend...

Clive was really easy to deal with when purchasing my car. He answered all questions and was happy to help answer questions after signing. I would recommend MTF Moorhouse to any family member or friend as the whole process was clear, straight forward and had my best interest valued throughout. (Not that I would recommend calling Clive at 9.30pm) but I managed to accidentally dial the wrong number and he still answered at 9.30pm and he was as polite as ever! keep up the great work. thanks...
