Okay yes you go to a city where you know no one and you need to feed your family breakfast and yes you guessed it No Booking!! Well hopefully like us, you find yourself close to Addington Coffee Co-op. We ventured here for breakfast and were amazed by how Big the place was and how good the food was. We waited in line whilst reviewing the extensive menu for a cafe. We didn't wait long and while we looked for an open table we found bar seating by the entrance. Soon a very nice gentleman asked how many in our party, we said 4 and he quickly lead us to a table. He returned to clean it and we were seated. Our food soon came out hot and looking very good. We ordered the Bacon & Egg Sandwhich with a mixed berry muffin, Avacado toast sandwich, brunch bao and granola. All were ridiculously flavorful and delicious. Wow for such a place we did not expect for it to be so good. Oh **Hot Take** check out their very nicely laid out shop/boutique. It had some truly unique and awesome items for all ages. So hungry (check), not sure where to go (check), family getting hangry (double check) head over here, I assure no one will be disappointed. Oh one more thing, the Coffee was also Equally Amazing!! Yes, yes AND YES Please!!

First time at addington coffee co-op, was busy but had no trouble getting a table. The cafe itself had quite a cool New York cafe vibe. Service was great! Myself and my partner both ordered the french toast (I also ordered an iced chocolate). The iced chocolate was so delicious , to the point that I drank it way too fast. Even though it was busy, my partner and I received our meals within 10 minutes of ordering. As shown above the french toast came with a variety of sweet fruit and also bacon (for an extra $5) The meal was absolutely delicious and brought together so many different flavors without being overpowering. I would definitely reccomend addington coffee co-op to anyone wanting great breakfast meals with a awesome vibe; the only negative I would give it is the price as my meal came to around $30 where as I have had bigger and very good meals (slick burger $24) cheaper , therefore I give them 4 stars, but definitely awesome breakfast and I will absolutely come back and try more of the menu.

Friendly service. Quirky atmosphere. Food was not terribly impressive. - The Pulled Pork Tacos were the standout, very delicious. - The Mushrooms were rather tasteless, the addition of the seaweed as a garnish was odd. But the poached egg was cooked to perfection. - The Berry smoothie was delicious, tart but flavourful. - The Banana smoothie was sweet and delicious. - The Passionfruit and white chocolate slice tasted like neither passionfruit nor white chocolate. Although bland, it was light and fluffy. - The Chocolate cheesecake slice was also bland, tasted more like a budget brownie lacking flavour. - Flat white was on the burnt side, not a tasty drink considering this place is meant to be known for its coffee. Two toilets available, neither of which are wheelchair friendly. Dog friendly outside with water bowls available. Limited parking around the back.

We were visiting Christchurch for just a few days and was on the hunt for good coffee places. Have tried several cafés but have not thoroughly enjoyed their coffee. We were so glad that we stumbled upon this ✨GEM✨ This place is cosy and has a chill ambiance. Food is tasty and they serve great coffees. Customer service was excellent! We visited this place twice and bought two bags of coffee beans to enjoy when we get back to AKL. Also in their store, they have interesting book selections, bought myself two books as well. Awesome experience overall! Cheers!

Wow. This place is adorable, the decor is so cute and the food is definitely worth the wait for a table. We had been warned that it's best to book but we rocked in on a Sunday morning anyway just in case and managed to get one of the cute tables by the front door which are almost bar leaner style. The french toast was amazing, best I've ever had. I'm told the eggs bene was really great, too. Honestly worth the wait and worth battling a crowd. Enjoy a look in the gift-type shop while you're waiting.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times now and the cafe is usually quite busy. Despite so, the place is spacious enough with window and outdoor seats and staff always try to provide prompt service. I’d rate the food 3.5-4 out of 5 - although it’s not mind blowing, they consistently serve above average food and coffee. Plus, food is always well presented. It’s just alittle pricey for me to visit more often. Overall, it’s a lovely brunch place.
