As an Englishman I love my fish and chips but in 5 and half years of being in NZ, every fish and chip shop I had been to got a maximum of 5 out of 10. That was until I came here! I was chatting to a friend about the poor state of the chippies in NZ and he recommended I come here. So I did. Now I've been twice. Absolutely the best I have had in NZ in almost six years of searching. Lightly battered well done fish is how I normally request and I also ask for crispy chips, but rarely do I get that. However, this place cooks them like that as standard. Not too long a wait. Perfectly cooked lightly battered well done fish and the chips are crispy every time. Absolute perfection! If you love fish and chips then try this place. You will not be disappointed . I know I'm going to go here once a week minimum for the rest of my life. 10 out of 10 from an Englishman, and we invented fish...

I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Every time I have eaten here, dine-in or takeaway or delivery makes no difference, they are consistently fantastic. You can tell their food is made with love and care. It is always crispy, tasty, perfectly cooked, delicious flavours. There are options for everyone. I think my favourite thing is the batter doesn’t give you that heavy, greasy feeling after eating it. It’s delicious and light and not overdone.
