Made an order just after they closed on Uber eats and they accepted it. Curry on Grey was a delight to dine here today for lunch. We dined there several years ago and were very impressed with the improvements they have since made. The ambience was really lovely very clean. Beauiful music and beautifully presented waitress with excellent waiting skills. The food ordered was Rogan Josh lamb. When it arrived it looked delicious 😋 and beautifully dressed with a perfect round mound of rice with a chapati small side salad and a freshly baked naan. The meet melted in your mouth, the breads were fresh and perfectly cooked . The small salad had a beautiful homemade drizzle and the rice perfect. It looked as good as it tasted. Good value. The food!! Wow! You could taste the almonds and cashews in the korma gravy, it’s wasn’t just yellowy cream, the butter chicken was med hot and was actually medium hot, for a kiwi. You could taste the star anise and fennel, the flavours were all there. The service was excellent with our server very busy but still attentive enough to fill my wine glass a second time. The music wasn’t so loud, you could enjoy conversation but not over hear the group next to you. The cost was similar to others for a main dinner where we asked for a take home box for each of us.
