My dining experience at Rice Rice Baby in Hamilton was nothing short of exceptional. This hidden gem offers a refreshing take on Asian cuisine, blending traditional flavours with modern culinary creativity. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. Ambiance: The ambiance of Rice Rice Baby is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy decor that sets the tone for a relaxed dining experience. The vibrant artwork and contemporary design elements create a lively atmosphere, while the soft lighting and comfortable seating make it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The attention to detail in the decor reflects the care and thoughtfulness that goes into every aspect of the restaurant. Menu: The menu at Rice Rice Baby is diverse and thoughtfully curated, offering a wide range of dishes that cater to all tastes. Whether you’re a fan of classic Asian dishes or looking to try something new, you’ll find plenty of options to satisfy your cravings. The use of fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident in every bite, and the flavours are authentic and well-balanced. Food: I was thoroughly impressed with the food. The dishes were beautifully presented, and each one was a feast for the senses. I started with the Vietnamese Spring Rolls, which were crispy on the outside and filled with a delightful mix of fresh vegetables and tender meat. The dipping sauce added a perfect tangy kick. For the main course, I opted for the Pho, and it was easily one of the best I’ve had. The broth was rich and flavorful, with a depth that only comes from hours of careful simmering. The beef was tender and cooked to perfection, and the noodles were just the right texture. It was a comforting and satisfying dish that I would highly recommend. The Pad Thai was another standout dish. It was expertly cooked, with a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavours. The portion size was generous, and the dish was garnished with fresh herbs and crunchy peanuts that added an extra layer of texture and flavour. To finish off the meal, I couldn’t resist trying the Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal – sweet, creamy, and beautifully balanced with the fresh, juicy mango slices. Service: The service at Rice Rice Baby was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to make recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences, which added to the overall positive experience. The food was served promptly, and the staff checked in regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Final Thoughts: Rice Rice Baby is a standout restaurant in Hamilton that delivers on all fronts – ambiance, food, and service. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit. The quality and authenticity of the dishes make it a must-try for anyone who appreciates good food. I left with a full stomach and a big smile, already planning my next visit. Highly recommended!

First time visitors. Food exceeded our expectations, amazing. Loved all the food we ordered but the spring rolls and sticky fish sauce chicken nibbles were the best. Would've given a 5 star however the chairs and tables are not all plus size or group friendly unless you want to sit at separate tables and on plastic chairs which for larger people would be unsafe. Also the initial young lady who greeted us was not very professional and rather rude as we were snapped at for attempting to move 2 small tables together so we could all fit. We understood after she explained it was strictly their policy to not move the tables but it was absolutely unnecessary to snap at customers. It was not super busy either for the whole time we were there. Her service left a sour taste in our mouths. We were so glad to be served by another young lady who took our order and kindly suggested we could move to their one and only larger table (2 small tables together) which would be more comfortable for us all. We appreciated her customer service and glad we stayed as the food was definitely amazing.

What we ordered: Calamari, tradition Beef pho, crispy pork And 2 drinks šŸø The Pho was nice, nice broth and heaps of beef in it. It came with shrimp paste if you wanted it for extra flavour. The crispy pork was a bit too sweet. The salad also had some sweet dressing so it became too much. Might ask not to put dressing for next time. Calamari was good. It was a good starter and the drinks were nice too. Personal opinion : The lighting inside the restaurant felt too dim for me. The main light was the LED on the wall and I felt like I need a bit more light to seešŸ’” Also the songs played was alright, I would have enjoyed it if it was the clean versions cause there was a bit too much cursing in the music… Kids were dinning in with their parents too.

Edit to respond to owner - we didn't question the authenticity. NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISIBLE. We didn't walk around the store. I'm permanently on a crutch after a stroke. My sister also has disabilities. We didn't want to accidentally break the chairs so both wanted to sit on the bench side. We asked to leave our phone number and were told the owner wouldn't be in anytime soon as he was too busy with a new store. All we wanted to do was try your food.

I don't know about their food. Their chairs are cheap plastic chairs. My sister and I have disabilities and don't feel safe sitting on them. We were told the manager said we couldn't take a bigger table, which would have meant we could both sit on the built in bench seat, as only 3+ people can be seated there.

We called the store, she was the manager and it's the owners policy. Even if we leave our number for the owner to contact us he wouldn't. Lovely. Do not recommend! Especially If you have...
