MoaTours New Zealand — Local services in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

I just finished a 17 day Moa Trek tour April 17 to May 3; "Wonderful" is the word I would use to describe it. The hotels were comfortable and the breakfasts were hearty and quite extensive. Most mornings began between 7 and 9 which was appreciated. Our stops were well timed, especially bathroom breaks. For me at times a bit longer drive might have been appreciated. Selections of restaurants were good as well. Our tour guide/driver, Brian, was great. He shared his extensive knowledge of the various areas we visited, his personal anecdotes, and he was a careful courteous driving. He even taught us some Maori and part of a song. These things really helped bring the group of 17 of us from a collection of shy strangers to a new community. Through Wattsapp we continue to connect and share and photos; with promises to meet again in our various countries The scenery was amazing....

Amazing tour, if i could give it more stars i would. The activities were great and so were the accommodations, there were partly meals included. But the greatest thing or should i say person was our tour guide Rob, the whole tour group agrees that he is probably the best tour guide one could have. He has alot of knowledge about New Zealand and really knows how to make it interesting. Also he is a very funny person. Also someone in the office should tell him he looks alot like Tom Cavanagh (photo comparison down below). We went in a cave to see glow worms and go rafting, we also took a scenic flight from Milford sound to Queenstown, and way more. My wife and I traveled 🧳 with Moa tours on their Molesworth Station, the Able Tasman & Golden Bay Tour. We enjoyed every part of the experience, the accomodation, the Meals and a particularly helpful and interesting guide/ leader who went out of his way to make certain we all enjoyed participating in the tour. From the time we were picked up from our place of residence till we were returned to our home 🏡 we were looked after in grand fashion, nothing was overlooked.
