Kindred Studio — Local services in Nelson

The Studio Evolve in Nelson offers many great yoga classes, and the one that I found most helpful for my fitness/ability level was Sheila Kennard's Chair Yoga which is held on Thursdays at 11.15am. Due to a tailbone injury, it is not comfortable for me to sit on a mat on the floor, so chair yoga seemed a perfect match for me. Sheila's positive approach, kind and caring nature with a variety of options for each move made it easy and a very enjoyable experience. It wasn't about competing with anyone, just doing my best at whatever level I could handle. One of the best things about this class is that it doesn't matter how old - or young - you are or what fitness level you are at - you will reap benefits from the very first class. What I love about Kindred is how each class is unique. It depends who is teaching and what style it is, each teacher (there are many) has their own style. I go to a fair number throughout the two months I've been practicing with Kindred and love the diversity of styles across the week. Recommend taking the intro offer and attending as many as possible.
