Prior to this, I've never signed up to a gym. I couldn't see myself committed to one. However, I needed a change. After a serious accident more than 10 years ago, I never could regain my fitness and strength. It is disappointing that I would keep getting injured and the cycle continues..
Thankfully, with the support of my partner and with the coaches at BFT Welly Central (Dani, Aaron, Amy, Bri, Emily, Abbas, Mushi..), I kept showing up.
I wanted to give up so many times, especially being new to everything. I couldn't last 5 minutes in my first classes and was fainting a lot. I couldn't lift even a bar so I had to work with a wooden stick, or nothing at all.
What is great is that with BFT, they aim to help you get stronger and fitter, no matter where you begin the journey. You get challenges. You get world class athletes as coaches. You get to make friends. You get results.

A friend encouraged me to try BFT Wellington Central about a month ago and I love it! Iāve gone from no exercise, to attending BFT sessions 4-5 times per week.
The trainers make you feel welcome and capable, they provide encouragement and a safe space. There are varied sessions across the week, exposing you to new and different exercises. The sessions are well run, with clear instructions/demonstrations and the experienced trainers actively check and correct form, if required. The vibe from the trainers and members create an awesome atmosphere, that makes it addictive. The online App and heart rate monitor are great for tracking your session and pretty cool for those that have a competitive nature :)
