As a newcomer to Wellington, finding the right gym was a top priority. After researching BFT, Maia Crossfit, and CrossFit Central Wellington, I found CrossFit Central Wellington to be the best choice due to its exceptional customer service, welcoming atmosphere, and other key factors.

Owner Brian warmly welcomed me for a free workout and even remembered my name before we met, which truly impressed me. After two trial classes, I officially joined and started training from the basics. The inclusive environment and skilled, patient coaches make learning seamless. One of the most welcoming CrossFit gyms I've ever visited! I've been solo travelling for a month and spent a week in Wellington, I instantaneously felt welcomed by each member and coach. By far one of the best CrossFit gyms I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to quite a few as a travel nurse moving to a new city every 3-6months for the last 10 years. The set-up is amazing, there is plenty of equipment as well as pull up bars…no waiting in line for a spot to free up mid-workout. Super friendly coaches and members.
