Excellent place, again I would recommend anyone to add this to their itenarary. Waihi has a a lot history based around mining, as I mentioned on my previous review, this would make a brilliant day trip, visit karangahake gorge and then finish up coming here and possibly drive to the beautiful beach only 15mins from the gold mine.
