It's a great museum. We learned all about the history of gold mining. The models recreating the town and mine are artworks themselves. The volunteer knew his history and enjoyed sharing. The short video of conversations with people who had worked in the mine added a reality to the experience. There is also a range of collections on quaint things like radios and tvs. Well...

This really exceeded my expectations. The models of the mines and towns were so fantastic. There’s also a replica mine tunnel that you can walk through.
