lululemon — Local services in South Island

Had the worst shopping experience with lululemon Queenstown thanks to staff Sofia that I will feel uncomfortable to step into this shop ever again. As I went to fitting room for the second time she turned her head away and comment on me with her coworker loudly , saying ‘wow she’s back” as if I’m someone that she can’t wait to get rid of. Some other staff tried to explain this as language misunderstanding but hey, if you mean it in a good way you would directly speak to me saying ‘wow you are back!” Instead of a comment with a funny interesting smile on you ;) I feel very awkward and uncomfortable back to this shop w Some staff being unprofessional / rude or maybe something more. Discrimination is not fun. I understand a few people is new or short term and lack of training but I don’t see the rudeness there is something can be changed...

I had such a lovely buying experience here. All the girls were so friendly, remembering my name, helping me learn about sizing and offering a tonne of assistance changing garments to try on. They didn’t have one item in stock that I wanted and I left with assurance that they’d email around and find it, get it sent to their store, get the leggings taken up, and then get it posted back to me (all for no extra charge!) I left with confidence that would happen and about an hour later I received a call from another store saying my leggings were on their way. How good! All the girls were lovely, can’t wait to shop...
