FRESH MEAT GL — Local services in Waitākere Ranges

Bought some of their homemade pork sausages to put on the BBQ as I had friends over for a gathering. I opened them up 10 minutes after purchase and the smell made us all gag! They were absolutely rotten, and the smell lingered for ages. Admittedly they had been reduced, but were within the best before date and looked OK. I was so embarrassed, anyway wasn't going to take them back that day so I put directly into the freezer. I had to order in Pizza delivery which cost me a fortune. When I did get around to returning them for a refund, he owner started yelling at me saying I was lying and his sausages are always fresh. He was furious, even another customer in the shop told him he need to calm down. I told him he needs to turn his open chillers up as it was a hot day when I purchased them. Guess he's trying to save money on power. He wouldn't refund me, but gave me a replacement. (These were fresh) I walked out pretty shaken up, he was scary, and will never return which is a shame as I like to support small...

BE AWARE THERE MEAT IS ROTTEN!!!!! BAD EXPERIENCE!! lamb loin chops. 'Special' reduced price. Packed on 03.08.25 Best b4 09.08.25. we bought and ate 1/2 chops the same day. .
