The dining experience at this restaurant was truly delightful. 【Starters - Paneer tikka】 solo crispy 【The Butter Chicken 】was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spices that made it irresistibly flavourful. 【The Lamb Curry 】was tender and succulent, offering a depth of flavour that was simply unforgettable. 【Prawn jalfrezi Curry 】was equally impressive, with fresh, juicy prawns swimming in a luscious, aromatic sauce. 【The Cheese Salad】 was a refreshing and unique addition to the meal, providing a nice contrast to the richer dishes. 【The Mango Lassi 】was the perfect palate cleanser, bursting with tropical sweetness. The assortment of naan breads was a treat in itself. 【Naan】The Cheese Naan was soft and gooey, the Garlic Naan had a wonderful aromatic kick, and the Butter Cheese Naan combined the best of both worlds, offering a buttery, cheesy delight.

The portions were very generous, and each person only needed to spend less than 30nzd.

Little India Restaurant exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant vibe, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

The food was simply outstanding! Every dish was bursting with authentic Indian flavors. We started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy and packed with a deliciously spiced filling. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, while the lamb biryani had the perfect balance of spices and aroma. The naan was fresh and fluffy—an absolute must-try!

What truly made our visit special was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our glasses were always full and checking in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. They even took the time to recommend dishes based on our preferences, making us feel valued and well taken care of.

Location: very convenient Parking: Basement parking available and parking outside the restaurant which shares with Fresh World. Staff: inspite of restaurant being empty staff was not quick to serve. Felt the staff lacks basic etiquette. Service: delayed- ordered for 5 hot chocolate for kids and only 4 were served and 5th came when all the other kids finished. Asked for spoons thrice, asked for chutney twice. Seating: lot of options from table for 2 to table of 24. Reservations: appreciated and required to avoid waiting time Food quality: had visited for evening tea with some refreshments, na it did not look fresh. Looked like the mixed veg platter was fried twice or thrice, samosas felt stale. MasalaTea was fantastic and refreshing but were served in different cups.. wonder why ?? Value for money: did not enjoy the experience.. may be one of those days and one of those customers :) but a good place to hangout with mates and family.
