Booked a pregnancy massage and got a call as I was arriving to say the therapist couldn’t do the massage if I was past 12 weeks. I went in to discuss as I’d paid for parking and driven 30 mins across town. They were more worried about the booking system than the inconvenience and disappointment to this tired sore mamma! It seems that this is a booking system issue and I appreciate them not doing a massage they are not qualified to do, but very disappointed with the customer service, given I’d pre-filled forms that would have alerted them to this prior to turning up to the appointment. Alternate times on other days were offered but don’t fit with my schedule. Refund given but no compensation for parking payment, travel etc - so...

A visit to HANA is a sojourn of zen and tranquility from start to finish. On my first visit I had a PBM light therapy session followed by a therapeutic massage… I felt like I was floating on cloud nine! I’m also fortunate enough to be taking part in the 2023 HANA Spring Wellness Challenge: ten infrared saunas over the month of October. This treatment is amazing; relieving muscle pain, relaxing the whole body and expelling toxins through sweating, without the intense heat of traditional saunas. The staff at HANA are friendly, efficient and knowledgable; the booking process is easy and the premises are serene and relaxing. An overall blissful experience… I wholeheartedly recommend this oasis in the heart...

Invigorating! Took advantage of the new client concession for 5 contrast therapy sessions. Addictive. Offered water with electrolytes to drink throughout the session and there’s detox tea available to drink before and after. A great way to relax, detox, reducing muscle soreness and stiffness. Recovering from a wrist fracture I’d been doing contrast therapy on a small scale alternating soaks for my arm in hot and cold water. But great to enjoy on a larger scale to reap more benefits. Good for the wrist rehab and also preparation for general anaesthetic for a day surgery. I’ll be back on my future visits...
