Look Sharp Store CBD — Local services in Waitematā

Today, I visited the CBD branch and purchased a few Christmas decorations and a double-sided tape. Most of the products did not have price tags, and I expected to pay around $20. However, the total came to $33, which I accepted. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed that the double-sided tape cost $8. I was shocked and immediately returned to the store, only to be informed by the lady at the counter that they don't have a refund policy. She also mentioned that I could find cheaper alternatives at a $2 store up the road which is a bit rude and not the point.

My point is, all products should have price tags, and there should be a reasonable refund policy, especially if a customer returns right after stepping out of the store. Although they offered me an exchange, it doesn't solve the issue, as the money still stays within the store. I believe I am not the only customer...

It’s a bit crazy how this store is set-up. It’s as if an assortment of all things you can ever imagine—from costumes, props, kitchen stuff, containers and organisers, baking needs—exploded in this store and landed all over the place 😝

Once went here to look for a costume prop and I’ve been roaming around for about 30 minutes and seemed like I found everything BUT what I needed. Ended up asking for help, but the staff also looked a bit lost so I gave up and bought something else instead.

Don’t get me wrong, love going here because it’s cheap. But I hope they’ll have a bigger space, or less items that’s more...
