We wanted a statement piece of art in our 1970's architectural home. After visiting Las Vegas we loved the look of the retro neon signs which gave us the idea for our foyer here in Auckland. After searching the web we found Radikal Neon and their work appealed to us. We decided to pay them a visit in person and where lucky enough to meet Tom the owner along with a couple of his team. They were all lovely to talk to and they understood our vibe straight away. After a 10 minute briefing with us sharing our idea we went away and within a couple of days had the perfect concept digital proof along with another variation on the theme. We had the option to reject, tweak and change the size, shape and colors however there was no need. Two weeks later our neon was ready. We took Tom's advice and had it installed by electricians he recommended. They were professional and did an excellent job. Radikal Neon, this business is one I will be recommending to everyone I know! Through no fault of theirs my daughter miss spelt the name to go on the sign she was giving some special friends for their holiday home. (I know what you are thinking, but my daughter who organized it has a tumor that can affect her memory and she sometimes gets things mixed up.) Because it was a special gift, when it arrived and was opened she was beyond gutted!! I made contact with them and spoke to an amazing human called Tom. Tom listened to my what I had to say, and told me he would sort it and not to worry. For many years we have had the idea of using a neon sign to make a statement in our home and a long standing family joke meant it just had to say “not guilty”! And, no we are not lawyers... Well the awesome team at Radikal Neon have now made this dream come true in the form of a special birthday gift for my wife. The colour is her favourite and with the dimmer it fits whatever mood we want in the room. They pulled a few strings to deliver this on time and at a very reasonable cost.
