White Beauty Spa & Float Lounge (Beauty on Ponsonby) — Local services in Waitematā

This is a belated review from my time at WhiteSpa on the 17/08/24, simply because I couldn’t figure out how to post it until I emailed them asking for help (which Louise very kindly and promptly offered).

For my birthday, I treated myself to a float session, followed by a long massage by the incredible masseuse Rhai. It is a tradition for me to do something special for myself, typically a massage, on my birthday, but my expectations often fall short. NOT THIS TIME BABYYYY! My expectations were exceeded!! I have never felt more relaxed in my life. And I say that as a person with anxiety.

The float was a new experience that I had wanted for a while, and it felt so luxurious and cosmic in a way that I LOVED. This being followed by a massage by Rhai… it felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Rhai was incredibly calm, grounded, compassionate, and made sure to keep checking in with me, without disturbing the zen vibe. The massage itself was the best I have ever had, and Rhai didn’t make me feel rushed at the end when I dozed off and the massage was over. 10/10!! I will definitely be going back again!

My only gripe is that the massage had to end at all.

This is the best beauty spa I have ever been to. Lou & the team really take time to get to know you and your body, so they can take the care required. This is the place to go to, to not only relax but to look after yourself.

All the team are always welcoming, knowledgeable on the service they are providing as well as the products they are using and where they come from.

This is a 10/10 beauty spa. Would 100%...
