Lovely mixture of foods on the menu and food beautifully presented. Lots of vegan/gluten free options and the coffee is superb! I had the wild rice bowl, was delicious and the Kim chi really lifted the meal and tofu was full of flavour, the salad did need some kind of sauce or agent to make it less dry otherwise meal was great. I requested avocado with it and it went so well with the dish. The salmon bagel was perfect, was hearty with the proper salmon fillet and swapped out the cream cheese for avo. French toast, was a ten, presentation spot on and lovely bits of fruit to add some lightness to the meal. The full breakfast was impressive and the pork and fennel sausages were the star on that plate. I recommend to try their freshly pressed juices, specially the green juice, great way to start the day. This place is great for litte ones as their is a Hidden courtyard at the back where they can be less restricted and enjoy the outdoors. This place had some lovely Vietnamese options on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try the pho!! Oh and duck fat potatoes must try, they are...
Read moreBeen going to Fusion for years since I lived in the local area, has remained a significant favorite to my family and I (even though we live outside Auckland now) We have kids get together s, catch up with mates or just some quiet time to think, Summer in the courtyard or balcony and winter by the fire. Anytime of the year its excellent. Its understated so not too mainstream and really friendly staff make you feel really welcome. I go for a fav meal of the special omelettes (that do change from time to time) today I snuck in for a late lunch to get away from the busy day and they put together a stunning omelette that rates as probably the best ive ever had, accompanied with a cheeky sav and sitting in the sun soaked front tables it was a superb drop in. Highly...
Read moreSlowest cafe in Auckland!!! Stopped to grab 3 takeaway coffees on Saturday. (Our usual Didas had a long queue) so my husband popped into Fusion (as they had no queue at all) while I waited in the car... 20 minutes later he is still waiting for the coffees! The girl working there kept popping out the back multiple times (who knows what on earth she kept going out the back for), then decided to clear some tables. Not much wonder there were no customers. Would have been much faster to wait in the Didas queue. After 25 minutes I turned off the car and went inside to see what on earth was taking so long. My husband almost was about to cancel our order and ask for our...
