I just completed my first SHRED 6-week challenge, and I absolutely loved it! Before this challenge, I believed losing weight meant eating very few calories, avoiding carbs, skipping meals, and relying solely on my weight on the scales. Now, I realise that's not the case at all. I understand what people mean when they say, “food is fuel.” I’ve learned that I can enjoy three meals a day, include carbs, and still see results. That as long as I’m still seeing the results in the mirror and through measurements, it doesn’t matter what the scales say. I've also never experienced so much energy while 'dieting.' The workouts were amazing too. Doing weights and HIIT helped me build strength and boosted my confidence in the gym. I love being able to book a class through the app, show up to the gym, shown what the workout is for the day and then getting through the class! Not needing to think about what to train and what equipment to use is honestly a lifesaver!! The classes are a perfect size, it feels as though every session is a one on one Personal Training session (even when it’s a full class). Wills and Amber are always walking around, they’re able to support you with form & give you words of encouragement to push through. It helped me stay consistent, I kept track of my nutrition targets using their app and my workouts to do were all set for the week. The videos of the workouts on the app were super helpful!! Also loved how I could change the workouts to days that would suit my routine if needed.
Coach Leah always checked in on me! Showed a lot of love and support, she always uplifted me with her words of encouragement, especially when I felt like I was lacking.
