This is the more western-feeling of the 2 big grocery stores, which are right across the street from one another. Surangels may be a bit smaller in terms of square footage, but it generally has everything I want, and even has some brands of never expect to find in Palau--like Kirkland and Green Mountain Gringo salsa. Surangels has the better freezer in my experience, so the ice cream is better. I think Surangels has more parking. Wctc's department store upstairs seems to have a better selection, if the goal is one-stop shopping. I prefer surangels's rewards program--cash rewards, albeit ones that accumulate slowly, versus a raffle that you have to turn in with your receipt...
