Well basically I experienced nothing extra bad here BUT the difference between offline and online store is crazy - 100± zl. I really do not understand why. Nobody in the store advice you or make this note for you that it is cheaper to order online. I heard of this issue from another buyer at the checkout being ready to pay for a perfume. Decided to check the price online and was shocked. I asked about the reason - consultant said that it is because it is different things online and offline (lol) and added that delivery could take 3-4 days (seems like in order to make me think it will not get to me by the the Valentines day). Jfyi - I made an order on Saturday and got it delivered on Monday afternoon (Warszawa). So as a conclusion it seems that they are more interested in getting you money rather than provide really good service to make you return. Read moreI’ve always liked Douglas and have bought quite a lot from them over the years, but my recent experience was honestly disappointing. I asked for a tester of a perfume they had in-store, just to show it to a friend before deciding whether to buy it. The staff told me that Douglas, as a general policy, doesn’t provide any testers or samples unless a purchase is made. The way they said it—and the way they looked at me—made me feel judged, as if I couldn’t afford the product.
Right after, I went to Sephora, where they not only gave me a sample of the same perfume without any issue, but also offered two additional samples of similar scents to help me choose.
This experience made it clear to me that Douglas lacks a customer-oriented approach. It’s disappointing, especially when you’re genuinely interested in buying something but want to be sure before spending. I hope they reconsider how they treat...
Read moreWorst experience ever. Ruined my last day in Warsaw. I went in store with Douglas bag, (I was shopping in Douglas in other mall in Warsaw and it was wrapped as a gift). In the same bag, I had products from another stores, and receipt for all of them. Security didn’t speak english, but made me feel like a thief. They took my bag (I guess to to cash register?!) to scan it and gave it to me back after a few minutes.
