Worst custom service ever. Plain food with oil dripping from it. (Nothing extra ordinary) The food can be cold
We are a family of 4, 2 children and 2 adults. We line up to take food, just like the others. One of the children mistakes the stick you pick up fries with, with the broccoli one and puts it beside the broccoli. One of the adults doesn’t notice the mistake the child did and picks up some broccoli with the stick. Out of nowhere a worker snatches the stick from the adults hand and curses us out, in front of everyone in polish. Then proceeds to aggressively throw it with the unwashed dishes. After that her co worker appears and they begin to chat and laugh while they look at us. Like WOW, such a big scene was made we didn’t even if we should continue taking food.
When we then reach the cashier, all of a sudden we get judging looks from them!! They look us up and down like, damn I didn’t expect that. They EVEN proceed to tell the other customers to step in front of us!! After we’ve eaten we go to where you can leave your brick. I ask one worker if I should put it there? (nicely in English) and guess what. She doesn’t even respond. Instead she twists her mouth and also looks me up and down while tapping her foot/being impatient. That means she understood what i said she just didn’t wanna help me out.
Wow just wow, I’ve never experienced something like this my whole life, and I will never ever go there again and of course tell people to not go there. If we got treated like that because of a little mistake a child did that didn’t get noticed, then I wonder what would’ve happened if a child was making a fuss at this restaurant? This ruined our first dining out experience in Poland and our mode, but it also made the stereotyped Poland seem true, so we all gotta thank this restaurant for making us feel like this. Thank you so much, we will...
Read moreNot really nice experience at the Kuchnia Marché at Złote Tarasy... Missing spoons on some of the dishes... What made that customers started taking spoons from other food trais which brings food safety down (food contamination). When staff behind counter was asked to provide extra spoons she said "please wait a little bit... it will be given" and instead assisting she stood there and watched making faces while other customer was picking salmon. Only another person bringing the new food start putting missing spoons. Lady did not moved her place still was observing other customers. Poor communication person at the till with customer. Could not hear a word she said. When I have asked if card transaction was accepted... No answer only "full ignore". Food heavy... Too heavy... 2 pierogi ruskie, naleśnik z serem and placek ziemniaczany... Almost 26 złotych. Feeling if the pierogi very wet... Same about the cheese in pancake... Almost running... with fake vanilla...
Read moreThe food is more than great. I mean, we tried meat, salads, their traditional pieroki food, and I can say, we were not disappointed... What really disappointed us and actually stressed us out, was during the time we had to pay at the register. The people working there at the Marche really need to learn to speak some English. Or at least learn to treat the customer nicely and appropriately, especially when the customers are visiting from another country! We got so stressed when we got to the register, because the women there wanted us to show them what we ordered, but they were speaking to us in Polish, and we told them repeatedly that we spoke only English, and they actually got mad and showed it too! By chance we understood what they were talking about and we left to go eat our food but we felt so bad because they actually talked in a bad manner and with an attitude towards us, in front of others too!...
