Warsaw Downtown — Local services in Warsaw

Uahu, what a terrible experience with the 3 ladies at information desk on the ground floor close to platform 1. We were in need of help at the tickets machine because the home screen was requesting the user to select the train company among several icons. There were 3 ladies completely denying help. The lady that I addressed myself to was today 17/10/22 8 am at the desk. Thin lady, spots on her face and semi blond hair. She pointed out to the machine saying that tickets to the airport in the machine. Several times. I insisted "can you pls help me and indicate the train company I have to select?" Not here, go to the machine. The she told me the name and I asked her to write it down on a paper (the name) she said, no paper, no pen, and pointing me out to go. All the experience has been super awkward. How can the information desk treat you that bad?? I would expect that the hiring company take action on this to avoid this bad feelings on the rest of the passengers this lady can...

Most travel guide we saw bring us to here "Warsaw Downtown / Warszawa Śródmieście" to get the train to Chopin airport, but we manage to to get on the train in Warsaw Central / Warszawa Centralna instead.

We did not find any ticket machine in Warsaw Central, so the 75min ticket need to be purchase from unfriendly an unhelpful staff in ZTM Passenger Service Point, prepare for long queue.

The train we board have it own ticket machine inside it, not sure it works, plus Warsaw Central station has evaluator or lift, so I guess it is better than this Warsaw Downtown station where...

One of the main train stations in Warszaw city. It’s an underground metro station and hass two entry points opposite the Palace of Culture. Recycle bin points just inside on the way in (top entrance). Just outside are a bike lock stations. But for this kind of big station its lack of so many facilities/ features.
