Every time I visit Poland, I make sure to come back to Kuchnia Warszawska. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is truly special. Sitting right in the heart of the Old Town Market Square, you can enjoy your meal while watching the world go by — from children playing and accordion music in the background, to tourists wandering toward the iconic Mermaid Fountain. What makes this place stand out isn’t just the food (which is fantastic), but the location — it’s pure magic. I highly recommend the beef and salmon tartar it is unbelievably good. Also the żurek comes in its own bread as the bowl a must try. A couple of things to keep in mind: the service can sometimes be a little slow, especially when it gets busy. Also, people tend to smoke in the outdoor seating area, which can be a bit frustrating — something I really hope Poland reconsiders. That said, I highly recommend this place. Whether you're a tourist or returning visitor like me, it’s a perfect spot to soak in the beauty and flavour of Warsaw.

Pleasantly surprising quality food despite tourist are. Started with fat spread on bread with pickled cucumbers, was soft and tasty - the bread was just baked to perfection soft yet crunchy. As main course we all had different ones: sweet dumplings with blueberries, żurek soup served in bread, and pork chop. Everything was feeling like high quality ingredients with skillful cooking. They provided dog water bowl very fast. Ordered also ketchup as the pork chop was a little dry for my taste, it arrived in the middle of the meal, a little late but not a big issue. Seating are comfortable on their terrace.

The service was very slow, we've waited 40 minutes for two dishes. Furthermore, when we arrived there was nobody to take the order. I ordered pork knuckle, which should have been 50% off but in the end, it was maybe up to 30% cheaper. Plus 8% for the service, where there was no info about it! Food was quite good, although the pork skin was so hard that it was impossible to cut and eat it. Overall, I'd not recommend, better go to another place serving Polish cuisine.

I’ve ordered 3 soups and 1 side dish. Then waitress came and told that soup is not ready. I’ve said that we were here for soups and 3 of us not gonna stay for 1 side dish. She told that the kitchen already started and I told that it would be better to ask us before do this. In the answer, lady told that I’m not nice and it’s obvious that I’m from Russia. First of all, I’m from Ukraine. Second, we’ve been talking in Polish. I have accent, but I’m always trying to talk in Polish language in Poland, which is obviously how it should be.

I believe if 80% of dishes are not available it’s better to ask clients firstly are they gonna choose something another or cancel the order.

I also don’t think that it’s anyhow acceptable to say something like this to people, for me it was painful comparison.

Moreover, I was a huge fan of this restaurant and recommended it to insane amount of my friends. Now I’m not...

Simply the worst restaurant I have ever been in Warsaw. We ordered a soup, flaki, and a plate of mixed pierogies. After 25 min, I got a cold soup that was spiled all over outside the bowl, and different pierogies that we had ordered. They warmed the soup up, but the taste was even worst, too salty and strange taste. No eye contact with anybody at any point. I had to get up to ask for assistance. The manger came and after my asking if the cook had a chance to try the food they serve for their customers, he said: ...if the cook would try everything they sell, he would get too full quickly...so answer is no..😱 jeez...the worst excuse in a "quality" restaurant I have ever had heard. After an hour in that place, I had to eat something at home. Not to mention the...
