If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands down the worst dining experience my family has ever had. My brother ordered a skewer that came with raw chicken on it. When we pointed it out, the waiters tried to dismiss it by claiming the blood was from the meat above — as if we couldn’t clearly see the raw chicken sitting right there. It was completely inedible and a health hazard!
It didn’t stop there. My other brother ordered the XXL burger, and it was so bland and tasteless that he said even a McDonald’s burger would have been better. My sister-in-law ordered the salmon pasta, but she was so worried about the quality of the food that she could barely eat it. After a few bland bites, she left it untouched. Even my mom’s pasta dish was completely flavorless — no taste, no effort.
When we tried to send the dishes back, the waiters were argumentative and rude, making it seem like we were being unreasonable for expecting properly cooked food. We had to argue just to get a refund, and anyone could see that most of the food was hardly touched because it was so bad — and in some cases, downright dangerous.
To top it all off, after we got home, my sister-in-law started feeling sick from the salmon pasta she had. She was up most of the night, likely from food poisoning, though thankfully she hadn’t eaten much of it.
This place is a disaster from start to finish. If you value your health and taste buds, stay far away! Absolutely would...
Read moreThis was a last minute choice. Put it this way I wish I read the reviews before we sat down. Initially the table was in a good location but that where the positive comments end. After a really weird cheese covered garlic bread with cold whole cherry tomatoes on it they brought our main course. My sons burger was bloody in the middle and my other sons chicken so overcooked and dry and served with chips and Brussel sprouts??? My burger was ok but my wife’s Penne Al’arrabiata was unrecognisable from what you would expect. Overcooked pasta, dripping in oil with red and green capsicum peppers. It was, frankly inedible. I told the waiter when he eventually came to ask. The rest of us had all but finished our meals so we declined to have it remade. When they cleared the plates I asked the waiter to remove the offending dish from our bill as it remained uneaten. He spoke to his manager who refused to remove it from the bill. Only under strong protest from myself did they eventually agree to remove it. To say they were rude was an understatement, they tried their best to intimidate me and a weaker person would have just paid. Avoid this restaurant...
Read moreDespite this being a steakhouse I opted for seafood considering I was sitting at the Marina. The atmosphere was lovely and chilled with that bustling vibe in the background. The service was good, a lot of staff doing a lot of moving about two people setting one table kind of thing. It is super busy and this is reflected in how the staff operate. However they are so friendly and as I passed later by a couple of them said hello when they recognised me. I had seafood linguini and it was beautiful. Lots of mussels, ample prawns and tonnes of limpets. It was a nice touch having that one whole prawn looking up from the middle of the bowl. The sauce was bland besides the saltiness of the seafood, I had the lay on the cracked pepper to give it some depth. I wasn't mad about the garlic bread. It was a pizza base which looked more pleasant than it tasted. The texture was cardboard. However I will still give 4 stars for food because the linguini was cooked to perfection and the seafood was divine. Pricing was expected considering the location. Overall I...
