Nomadik Lounge Bar — Local services in Porto

Was staying next door so I decided to try it out. The wine selection is not too deep and service was terrible. Took us a very long time to flag a waiter down. The wines recommended were ok... when he brought the wines I noticed the red wine was a double pour. I asked him about it and he mentioned it was little extra and that's cool - on the house. I requested to take a picture of the wine bottle, he just left the bottle at the table and tended to another table. At this point, I would have given it a 3 star... an average place. Then of course I ask for the bill. I notice I was charged 2 pours of the red wine - I questioned the waiter about it, he had the audacity to mention that he had left the bottle and that I poured another round because the levels. I was livid at this point, I reminded the waiter that I mentioned double pour earlier. I asked to speak to the manager but before that he went in and brought another bill with the right amounts. Freakin ridiculous - the only time I've had a bad experience in all of Portugal and I was there for a month visited more than 50...

Convenient if you’re in the hotel, but probably nicer places nearby otherwise for example the wine box across the street. It’s not table service as much as ordering at the bar, but the staff will sometimes will bring the drink to you...

The bartender created a martini based on what I like... it was delicious! It's a rainy night, '70s music is playing, and I have a great drink in a lounge. Update: the bartender created a berry martini to go with my chocolate...
