Wimpy Greenstone Hill — Restaurant in Gauteng

Wimpy Greenstone turned my awesome day to awful day. Yday, I took my kids out for lunch just to celebrate their grade promotions. The waitresses by the door seemed like they didn't want any new customers in, hence they wanted to go home and enjoy themselves as well (they said to my face) the time was 5pm. I got in, instead. We were served by 3 different waitresses interchangeable, but Carrol is the one who came to take the order, she didn't even write on her book as I was telling what food we're ordering, mind you we were 5 people. We waited about 30 minutes, and food arrives, but my order was totally the WRONG order. She spoke with attitude as if I should eat the food instead, I told I can't hence I ordered mixed grill and it wasn't my fault she wasn't noting down our order as we were telling what we want. I ended up canceling my order, hence I lost appetite and it was already late, and she herself started cleaning/mopping the space we were sitting on. So the whole reception was awful, no one would want to eat in a place, where there is so much rude attitude from the waitresses, and worse bring you wrong order after waiting for 30 minutes...

It's been a while since I have been to a Wimpy, and my visit today reminded me why.

Service was quick and great, but that's where it ends.

The food is presented so badly, with no effort put into making a meal look appealing.

Food also has no taste, yet the prices you pay you get other restaurants offering so much more value.

We ordered avo eggs and toast, it was just dumped on, avo brown and over ripe.

Toasted cheeses was just dry, two smashed thin slices bread with cheese and tomato.

With so many other restaurants out there , that make a effort to put out good tasty and presentable food, there is nothing from today's meal that will want...

Absolutely unacceptable! Ordered a cuppucino and a milkshake while waiting for family. Drinks arrived in dirty crockery. Sent the cuppucino back so they can fix and it came back in another (posibly even the same) cup. After that i asked for the bill to pay for the drinks even though i did not touch them and was told by the waiter that she cant let me pay and she will call the manager. Manager arrived and could not even be bothered to attempt to fix the problem and also refused to let me pay. The general lack of interest is insane. The staff clearly have no pride and show severe lack of care when it comes to hygiene. Will never set...
