Burger King Stonehill Crossing (Drive-Thru) — Restaurant in Gauteng

This store had no customers when we entered. We walked up to the counter and greeted the cashier with a smile and a hello, to which we were met with a sulky face and no greeting back so we placed our order and the lady was so disinterested in the process. We ordered a specific meal that we have ordered previously at numerous other stores and she just said that that specific meal was not sold at BK!! Before I could refute this claim made by her, another staff member walked up to the till and told her that that meal was in fact sold there at BK and pointed it out to her on the big bright menu display screen behind her!! I mean, really now!! I wonder if she has never heard of the meal or was just trying to get rid of us as she clearly didn’t want to be there!! It’s not difficult to have some customer service values when you are working at a job where you have to interact with people!! While seated there, another customer walked in and she adopted the same sour attitude with them. The food took quite long to be prepared and it was surprisingly as they were not busy at all!! Food was good but the service sucks!!! No name badge was visible so I unfortunately didn’t...

I’ve only ordered from this Burger King twice—and both experiences were terrible. To keep it short:

The first (and only) time I visited the store in person, I sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes without even reaching the order window. I eventually went inside, only to wait another 30 minutes to order and receive my food. The place was dirty, the staff were rude, and my simple request for a Whopper with no garnish somehow came with garnish and cheese. The patty was dry, even with the sauce.

The second time, I ordered via Uber Eats. I waited nearly 2 hours, only to have the same issues as before—except this time, they left out the chips entirely, despite it being a large meal.

Overall, a very unpleasant experience. You’re better off going to a different Burger King—Sasol Riley Road, for example, offers far better service...

On Thursday 19 Jun 2025 @ 14h30 - 14h49 I ordered at the drive through two Extra Long Jalapeno Burgers WITH NO JALAPENO... and I repeated the order three times!!

When I paid at the window she confirmed that the order MUST BE WITHOUT JALAPENO....

Next window to receive my order... again I ask repeat the order and she said two Extra Long Jalapeno Burgers WITH NO JALAPENO.... so I take it...

Back to the highway going to Centurion.... I take one an open it and take my first bite.... IT IS FULL OF FLIPPEN JALAPENO!!!!!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I WAISTED MY MONEY BECAUSE I GOT SOMETHING THAT I DIDN'T WANT ALTHOUGH I TOLD THEM MORE THAN FIVE TIMES "NO JALAPENO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS BURGER KING...
