Our stay was an absolute disaster. The owner is the most unfriendly person you can imagine. |But let us start with something positive: |The location is great and Plettenberg is really beautiful. The apartments room is also really neat and is ok to stay for a few days. |Nevertheless it already started bad, as we have been one hour too early and just asked to leave our luggage on spot - the lady had no idea and called the owner. A very unfriendly voice shouting at her just said:“ no they are too early!“ |So we left again and came back later that day. |Entering the room we just wanted to take a shower - sadly the towels were all dirty and new ones just needed to be cleaned. Quiet unprofessional. |In the evening we bought something for the grill, but although the idea of an outside bbq is great it was really ugly dirty and we decided to have it in the kitchen. |At the end of the day we just wanted to relax and chill in the bed - again the linen was dirty and we needed to change these by ourselves. Not really what you want in your holidays. |But the worst thing - the payment. The regulations of booking are - the payment will be done by the hotel and we only need to hand in the cc information. Unfortunately the owner is not able to read its own regulations and sent us a mail in the evening before check out to leave the payment in cash. |Why the hell shall I read my mails in my holiday and why shall I pay cash my stay when all regulations are given. |Now we need to use our holiday to discuss about the owners unprofessional behavior. It would have been an easy for the owner to handle this situation correctly by just informing us about the given problem and being polite and friendly - not a strength of this owner. |We still do not know what is the problem or what Has been the problem. |Never again this place and interesting to see that also other comment about the payment problem in...

The accommodation is split into three sections - all private with their own entrances and parking bays. We have stayed in the main house which sleeps about 5 people as well as the studio unit attached to the main house which sleeps 2. Both are sparkling clean stylishly decorated with modern finishes and make for a comfortable stay. The main house has everything you need from a washing machine with detergents available to an ice making machine. It offers all the comfort and luxuries you need while on holiday. A home away from home.This establishment has so much more to offer than the average self catering apartment. All the little "extras" like dishwashing liquid washing detergents soaps and shower gels toiletries in the bathroom,the chocolates on the bed,sufficient ice in the freezer upon arrival cold drinking water in the fridge and even the matches and firelighers and everything you need for the braai make this place stand out from the rest. Often when staying in a self catering apartment or on holiday one forgets or runs out of the little things like toiletries or matches to light up the fire which results in you having to make a trip to the shop. At 22 Robberg road you just need to move in unpack and unwind. All the necessary braai utensils were also available. Its the little things that count and in this case..the attention to detail is impressive. The kitchen is well equipped. Sufficient clean linen and extra bedding/BLANKETS is also available if required. The hosts were super friendly greeted us upon arrival and they were avail to respond to our queries immediately.||||We had a very comfortable stay in this stylish establishment and the only complaint was it was too short (overnight) We look forward to returning..
